Member ALERT || Our response to the Fair Work Amendment
APSCo Australia is in the process of submitting its response to the Fair Work Amendment (Supporting Australia's Jobs and Economic Recovery) Bill 2020, on behalf of Members.
The Bill, as currently framed, remedies uncertainty created by decisions, both those that have been made and those that are currently before the court in relation to whether casual employment is defined by the intention of the parties at commencement (e.g. 25% loading and engagement as a casual) or whether casual employees work a regular pattern of work.
