ACT Local Representative Committee Meeting - March 2023

Please join us for the next meeting of the ACT Regional Committee on Tuesday, March 28 at the offices of APSCo Member, HorizonOne Recruitment.

The APSCo Australia local representative committee in the ACT provides a voice for APSCo Members in influencing the professional staffing community in and around the nation's capital.

We will kickstart the meeting with a warm welcome from APSCo Australia's ACT Director, John McCluskey.

Lesley Horsburgh, Managing Director of APSCo Australia will then provide attendees with updates on APSCo initiatives and news.

Key discussion points of this meeting are as follows:

• Attracting people to consider careers in recruitment
• Hear from special guest, Keren Davis from Cornerstone Group (Lobbying on behalf of Members)
• Current market- How are people feeling?
• New Finance Panel Stage 1, now complete (any concerns or feedback?)
• Stage 2 for Labour Hire currently being evaluated
• Tech Discussion - Chat GTP, does it benefit or hinder businesses?
• Immediate issues affecting the ACT Region 
• Topics for future Committe meetings

Lunch will be provided. Please ensure you register to assist with catering and note any special dietary requirements.

Parking

There is ample street parking on Torrens St ($3/hr) and two Wilson Car Parks just a short walk away (Cnr of Torrens and Girrahween St and Cnr of Mort and Elourea St). If you're quick, there are two visitor spots at the front of the HorizonOne office.
