In his journey of 25 years, Amit Somaiya has consistently showcased his ability and potential to understand, and bring value to an extensive variety of business interests across diverse fields. With 17 years of offshoring expertise, he’s an industry luminary who built an organisation from scratch, now thriving with a 3,000-strong team. His business spans 40 countries, serving over 200 diverse clients and specialties worldwide.

His interest, experience, and expertise in an array of business specialisms have enabled him to make a significant impact throughout his career path. His skills have helped in driving foreign direct investments into multiple modern-day organisations and start-ups.

Peter Larkin
Group Finance Director APAC
Impellam

As Group Finance Director, APAC for Impellam Group, a global workforce management and specialist recruitment group, Peter brings 15+ years’ experience instilling best practice across all aspects of Finance, Legal Risk and Compliance to drive business growth, and profitability.

Working across a range of industries including, health, financial services and digital, Peter has established a stable modern financial structure, operating in multiple geographies throughout APAC. Since joining Impellam in 2012, he has been instrumental in M&A and Finance transformation programs and has been the Finance lead in numerous projects and system implementations.

Peter’s Big 4 experience with Deloitte Ireland, focusing on improving quality and service delivery for clients across a range of commercial settings, and wide range of operational and finance experience has led him to support the growth of Impellam APAC.

Responsible for all aspects of Finance in Impellam APAC, including Financial Strategy, budgeting and forecasting, reporting and regulatory compliance, Peter also oversees Legal Risk and Compliance, and HR in region and is a member of ICAI Chartered Accountants.
