Commencement date set for Labour Hire Licensing Scheme in Victoria

Authored By Ms Carly Fordred

Despite the media release highlighting only three sectors, the scheme, as outlined on the website, captures all suppliers as we define them including contractor management companies.

No application or detailed information will be available until the 29th of April and the application process must be completed by the 29th of October, 2019.

Members who have completed their Business Verification Review through the Talent Engagement Standard service, will have addressed the key areas of their application.
If you have not yet accessed this important Member Benefit, it is recommended you do so. Please email derek@apscoau.org to request your Business Verification Review.

Personal and company information, a fit and proper person test and compliance with legal obligations will form the basis of the application process, along with evidence related to accommodation and transport for some sectors.

The devil, as always, will be in the detail and will be available in education sessions over the next month, and in Guides provided by the Labour Hire Authority - not available until the 29th of April, 2019.

For more information, download the media release.
