Rebecca Houghton

Rebecca is the Founder and MD of BoldHR and has a unique profile in our sector which makes her a powerful advocate and practical coach for all of us.  She has been part of all elements of the talent ecosystem: self-employed, executive TA positions at the top end of town, headhunter in the City of London, run major P&Ls for agencies and, most recently led Agile product development and People Experience programs.

Joshua van Gestel

Joshua is Sunsuper’s National Education Manager, with extensive experience within Financial Services and Financial Media organisations, including roles in management, content development and education delivery. He is responsible for developing and delivering Sunsuper’s education strategy to members, employers and representative bodies. Joshua is passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their dreams through the provision of effective, tangible experiences and creating programs with employers to address employee wellbeing.

Julie Mills

Julie is a regonised Association Management leader and, as Managing Director of APSCo Australia, drives an agenda focused on business and professional standards and corporate knowledge and governance, ensuring the APSCo benchmarks for excellence are at the forefront of everyone’s agenda: Members, Government, regulators clients and candidates.

Dianne Gibert

Dianne is the founder and Managing Director of Certex International. She has over two decades of experience as a management consultant across a range of industries, and over 15 years working in the recruitment sector as a quality, safety and compliance specialist.  Dianne’s interest in compliance has seen her draft a number of standards for service industries, including recruitment with the Talent Engagement Standard, endorsed by JAS-ANZ as her latest achievemnet. She has a deep understanding of the issues facing recruitment and related businesses in Australia and New Zealand today.

Ann Swain

Ann Swain is founder and Global CEO of APSCo an international trade body representing the professional recruitment sector with operations in the UK, Germany, Singapore and Australia.  Ann has over 30 years’ recruitment experience including time as Managing Director of Learning Curve and UK Sales Director at Computer People before establishing APSCo in 1999.


In 2009, she was honoured to receive a fellowship from the NSPCC and in 2014 she joined the Executive Committee of Women in Recruitment. Martin Harris

Martin Harris is an Executive Director for Synergy Contracting and Recruitment. On arriving in Australia in 1987 Martin worked as an IT Contractor until the mid 1990's where he moved into IT Recruitment and from there into management.  His background as an IT Contractor and General Manager of  recruitment firms and consultancy firms as well as retail and web based companies provides a strong background in discussing the recruitment and talent engagement process.

Laurence has 30 years’ experience in the IT and financial services industries including as management consultant with Deloittes in the UK.
